20 spring homeschool activities, from preschool to teens. This big resource list is sure to get you and your homeschool into the spirit of spring and out of the winter blues.
Winter has been extremely long this year.
Yes, I would probably say that every year, but this year it has been really true.
Multiple “below normal” cold fronts that made me want to reconsider my Kansas based homestead for a more tropical version. Way fewer nice sunny days for that mid-winter reprieve.
Mix that with the fact I did a bout of single homeschool/homestead/parenting for half of this overly-arctic winter season, while the husband was away at a military school. Well needless to say there is no love lost between myself and this winter.
I don’t know about you, but I’m so over it!
So now, more than any time in the last 10 years, I want to jump into spring in every way possible. If there is a way to turn every homeschool lesson into an outside, spring-loving learning opportunity I will.

Spring has no shortage of amazing homeschool learning opportunities! There is a nature classroom in every flowerbed, garden, park, front porch, nature path, hiking trail, river bed and just about anything outside you can think of. The ability to go and learn anywhere is one of my favorite perks of homeschooling. And spring is one amazing time to take advantage of this opportunity, with some fun, engaging spring homeschool activities.
