Imagine a flavor-packed dance party in your mouth! Authentic Buttermilk Ranch is the ultimate cool cat, grooving with the creaminess of buttermilk, a zesty twirl of herbs, and a hint of tanginess that’ll make your taste buds boogie. It’s the dip that turns ordinary veggies into party VIPs and transforms salads into culinary dance floors.
If that has got you committed then get ready for a flavor fiesta with buttermilk ranch – it’s not just a dressing, it’s a taste celebration!
If you are a newcomer, here’s the scoop: I’m all about top-notch ingredients. Expect nothing but the best and healthiest in my recipes. Because, let’s face it, food should not just taste amazing but also be a nourishing treat for the body.
- Real Cultured Buttermilk-Check out my convincing post on making it from scratch. If you’re buying, however, go for organic, real cultured buttermilk for the best flavor and health properties.
- Mayonnaise- again homemade is best, or opt only for the kind without soybean oils.
- Dill weed
- Dried minced onions
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Paprika (optional but tasty)
Most of the herbs I keep fresh on hand most of the time growing in our greenhouse, however, if you need to use dried that is okay too. I think the flavor is only slightly different.
How to make it
Gathering your ingredients is really the hardest part because making it couldn’t be easier.
Throw it all in a blender, blend it well, transfer it to a jar, and store it in the fridge.
This will keep for a few weeks, I haven’t had it go bad yet, but then again it doesn’t last that long before it is gone and I have to make another batch anyway.
